Open Question: If we signed a contract to buy a house, but the contract doesn’t state “pending financing” are we able to ? Open Question: Could i make it happen?

It's not a special or "sale" either. I am paying 20 dollars a month more than their website shows. I don't have any "special" features in my apartment either. I have been here for 4 years, so i know what the floor plans and prices are. But it looks like i am overpaying now. Can I demand a matched price? By the way, i just got my lease renewal, so i know what my quoted price is for the entire next year. I HAVE NOT SIGNED MY LEASE RENEWAL YET! I don't have to sign it for another month. That's why i am asking!!!

  1. Eric H. Says:

You have quite a bit of bargaining power. There’s only one reason why they’re lowering their price - they can’t fill their vacancies. If you explain to them that you plan to move out if they don’t lower your rate, they will will lower it. What do you have to lose?
