Open Question: Moving while claiming jsa and housing? Open Question: Can I buy a foreclosed house without a real-estate agent?
Oct 14
I am considering giving 2,999 dollars to federal loan modification program (based in Cali) to help me negotiate with my lender. 1. Is this a good company? 2. How much will they help? 3. They have said that they have a 99% success rate in helping people lower theire mortgage payments. Is this true? 4. What if they take my money even if they do not help?? 5. Can you recommend any other company? Thank you

We had a very bad experience with them and have filed complaints with the BBB and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce (they have only been a member for two months). Once they received our money, they stopped returning calls and emails. For four weeks we asked for proof that they had contacted our mortgage company and at our forclosure hearing were told by the attorney for the mortgage company that FLM had not contacted them. They have yet to provide us with any proof that they have done any of the work they said. I am very skeptical of any company out there now.
