Hello, I am looking for an apartment and most of them include water and sewage included. What does that mean? Do I only have to pay for electricity and gas as far as utilities go? Thanks.

We are relocating to the San Diego area soon, for a job in the Pacific Beach area of the city. We have a daughter who is doing well in school and will be going into the 8th grade, so good schools are a must. We were wondering if anyone has any ideas of good places to rent an apartment in the Northern Coastal areas, probably not any farther North than Solana Beach. My husband may want to see if he could bike to work and also, we wondered if anyone knows of any apartment complexes in particular that they think are good ones. We have one small other issue of our small pet dog, Zoey, a 10 lb. Pom'. Any information on the Northern Coastal areas would also be helpful.

My husband's parents bought a home a couple years ago. He had nothing to do with the purchase of the home, they just put him on the deed in case something happened to him, he would get the house. We are looking at buying a house now and I'm not sure if we'd be considered for a first time home buyer tax credit?

I am thinking about purchasing a home in either Detroit, Michigan or Jacksonville, Florida or Los Angeles, California for rental purposes. I would appreciate opinions on the following questions: 1) Which city has a higher urgency for homes needed for Section 8 tenants? 2) Should i rent to Section 8 tenants or normal private market tenants? 3) Which city has a lower crime rate?

I have told my landlord about it on more than one occasion and still nothing has been done to fix the problem or to get rid of the mold. It is a major health concern for me, my 5 year old daughter, and my boyfriend to be living with so much black mold growing all around us. Since my landlord seems to have no desire to fix it, is there someone higher up i could go to within the city or county that i should contact or notify to get this serious problem taken care of? I've tried bleach on it and it just keeps coming back. If i was to not pay my rent until it was taken care of would it cause me to get kicked out? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! I'm out of ideas!!!!

I have an apartment in Bangalore that I have had for about 5 years. I am now planning to sell it. I live abroad and would prefer to take the money out of the country. Can I do this? I understand I might have to pay Capital Gains Tax, but how do I calculate it and how much can I really take out? Thanks

The realtor said "rather quickly." I'd like to know in terms of days/weeks what quickly means. Talking about an actual foreclosure, not short sale. In addition, do banks ever counter, or is it always just accept or reject?
