I live in Florida. I dont want to even explain why I am in foreclosure because it is just a mess. We were taken advantage of by the bank, and basically they changed our loan without permission...with a fixed rate. I am done with the stress, and just want out as soon as possible Im having a baby, and cant handle dealing with this when Im supposed to be happy.
My husband is military as well, so we just should have never bought a place in the first place..i feel like an idiot.

i have a condo out of state, the association fee is killing me, wih this econ, i can't really pay for that anymore, the place has been rented out and i've been paying for the fee, but can i be able to deal with the prop. mgnt and get like a waiver? what should i try?

My husband is 23 and I am almost 21. Now I'll start by saying that my husband has a great job and is being trained for management and I have a great job as well. We do pretty well financially considering our age. We have been saving for a home and a baby but now we have a dilemma.
My husband has been at his job almost 2 years and I've been at mine for a year. We talked to our credit union because we bank there and they got us a way low and better deal for our car and said they could do the same for a mortgage so that's not a problem. We have 2 different houses that we really love. One is a very small ranch with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, one car garage, appliances staying. Cute but small. The second is a HUD home. Huge! 4 Bedrooms, 3 baths, full basement, fenced in yard and in ground pool, hardwood floors. But it will need a new furnace and roof before too long. The other little projects we can take care of ourselves (re-painting, finishing floors, etc) with our fathers.
The first home (small ranch) is priced at $79,900. The HUD home is priced at $55,000. Which is a better deal taking into consideration the space, size, cost of repairs, etc.?

house is going to auction in a week, 102K left on the repoed home note that bank now holds, home in forecloser is in poor condition...needing probably 40k in repairs such as roof, new heating, cooling, new paining, gutting bathrooms, has no appliances, and needs updating, house has been vacant for a year...if house was in good condition probably worth 130-140k...how much might the bank take to buy this before it goes to auction...any thoughts

If you are already almost 3 months late..or 90 days past due, and how much can they lower your payment if any? We have a 10/30 loan where we are only paying insurance, interest, and taxes.

I've been living in this apartment almost 2 years and when I came the carpet was already old, but now it's really old and I cannot take care of it (my apt always feels durty couse the carpet is old and even if I clen it it seems durty)
( asked the landlord to change it (he wants to put wooden floor instead)
but he said O should pay half of the price !!!
What should I do??
how often does the landlord have to chenge the carpet??

My neighborhood is in transition from Puerto Rican to yuppy and I can't stand those white yuppies. I rented to one before and they whine and complain. The refrigerator door is on the wrong side, the heater makes too much noise, the tenant upstairs walks around too late at night, it smells like garbage in the back hallway, the neighbors dog is barking too loud, well you get the picture. White people, especially yuppies, whine so freaking much. It's like they think because they have money their crap doesn't smell. They want everything to be perfect and are always waking me up at night. I am willing to charge less rent for a nice Puerto Rican family but these freakin yuppies keep answering my ads. How can I rent to whomever I choose without being accused of discrimination? Can I put a cap on what income my possible tenant has?
