My husband and I want to get a pub, we have all qualifications and a personal alcohol licence but we are confused with all the words!!! lol
lease, lease hold, tenancy, nil premium tenancy, free of tie, freehouse, freehold, fully repairable tenancy....it gets very complicated.
We can't afford to buy a pub but some pub companies want rent + 50% proffits + they expect u you to pay for repairs.
What's the best way to do it to make the most money...which pub companies are the best or is it best to go through a brewery?
Thanks

So please if anyone has any idea were I could find an affordable apartment in the Atlanta, Ga area. Its just me, (no kids, no pets, just God and me).

My fiance is buying a condo for us and I have no job, so I am not on the loan to help at all. We are getting married in October and I was wondering if after we get married, will the condo be half mine? I am getting mixed answers. One person said that it will be half mine once we are married as long as I dont sign a pre nuptial and others say that we have to add my name to the title once we are married. My fiance says there is no point in putting me on the title and having me be half responsible for the payment when I have no job. He asked if I wanted my credit to be damaged in case he faults on his payment. He doesnt see adding me as rational until we are married.
Thanks for your answer. I am just trying to protect myself for the future. Once I have a job I plan on helping with payments and such. I just want to feel its our and its where we are going to start our family and such. Just to clarify what you are saying, so as long as we are married and I dont sign a prenup, in california, the condo will be joint ownership even if I am not on the title? Can you link me to where or how you know this?
Yes this is all confusing! My fiance and I do not have a joint account and I am not sure we will be having one in the near future. Our first step is to get married. I just want to be sure that I can add my name to the title, without refinancing, once I get a job or we get married?? If I do add my name to the deed now, does that mean that I am half responsible for the mortgage and if he decides to jet in the next 10 months, I am responsible for the payment? That is not what I want! Id rather wait 10 months or until I get a job where I could feel I can help.

Right. We have run into a situation with our landlord regarding payments and hopefully someone can help us!
We just recently moved into a two story house made in the early 1900's and we have been paying between 50.00-60.00 every month for our gas bill, but since the pipes have been freezing we have had to keep the hot water running and it went sky high to a whopping 190.00. Which is unacceptable. We took it out of our rent because this is their problem not ours and they are forcing us to still pay more then half of the bill. What do we do? I'm guessing this is unacceptable and this is for the state of oklahoma.
Thanks!!!
The pipes are unfortunately in a place we cannot get to. We've discussed this with the plumber.

My wife and I live in Michigan and we've benn trying to sell her condo for three years (in Michigan) while we live in the house I had before we got married. (in Michigan)
My question is do we have to claim it as income and pay tax on it if the monthly rent payment is less than our monthly mortgage payment on the condo?

if i were to pay towards their mortgage, what could i do to make sure i didn't lose my money? could i own a percentage of their house (til they payed me back) and could i make it impossible to take out any other loans secured on the house (which would make it higher risk)
