My problem is i had a house i was going to sell but a friend wanted to rent it off of me. No lease got signed no security deposit he payed me a good bit of money but not enough. there was some water damage from a leaking pipe that he wont pay me for. I am taking him to court for 6000 dollars but it feels like i wont get anything out of it.

do we still have to pay them if they cant produce the orriganal contract? the contract has been sold 4 times

My wife fell in love with this house. It's a nice house, I agree. But the problem is that it is twice as big as the average house there and the lot is also twice as big as the rest. There are 141 houses in the neighborhood and only this one is in the $400's; one in the $300's; 31 in the $200K-272K; and 108 in the $155K-199K. We can afford the house but thinking ahead, are we going to be able to sell this house for its value? By the way, we are getting only a 6% price reduction from the asking price, but a 12% reduction from the county appraised price.
