Hi,
Just reaching out to my fellow Americans...and want to know your thoughts on any innovative ideas and solutions to 'solve the foreclosure crisis' =)

I have a rental next door. The renters have loud parties. Instead of asking them to keep it down I want to start waking the owner up at 2am. Dealing with drunk young adults is not fun. I have the address of the house but would like the name and address of the home owner.

This question pertains to laws in Florida.
I found a piece of paper covering the wall in my kitchen cabinet and when I pulled it away I was horrified to find mold growing there. I'm am angry and frustrated. I've been living here for about a few months now and at move in didn't find any problems with leaks or anything, so this is a surprise and I'm thinking it was purposely hidden seeing that a piece of paper was over it. I also believe that the mold is coming from my shower (as I realized that on the other side of the wall is where my bathroom is). This could mean more mold and a leak in the pipes.
What should I do? What are the laws for this in florida? I'm assuming its illegal to lease a place that has mold (as its purposefully puts your health at risk) and not only that it was hidden. What are their responsibility?

Our HOA is almost bankrupt and cannot afford to file liens on delinquent members' houses. Who can be contacted to help? We need to raise extra money so we can afford to put a lien on a house and collect fees. About 25% of the members do not pay and there are 75 houses in our neighborhood. The HOA only pays for insurance, street lights, night patrol (that does not come by hardly ever), and lawn care for just the surrounding area of the neighborhood. Also, our neighborhood has a "temporary" sewage pump station that was installed five years ago and is extremely expensive to maintain. The city stated to the developers that they may or may not take over the sewer system and there has not been a reply. The pump station is on its last limb and there is no money to fix it when it does break. Plus, the power company turned off the neighborhood lights because of insufficient funds. I am just a member and not on the board and just found out, today, that the association was so bad off. There has been absolutely no notification to anyone. Several members said that if they had known they would have paid the bills so the lights could have stayed on. However, one good thing that I have found in this situation is that we have a lot of active members that are willing to pull together to overcome these obstacles. We just need to know what to do exactly. I live in Alabama and this subdivision was built 5 years ago (I don't know all of the info that you need to answer my questions) Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I volunteer for Habitat and we would like to buy homes for rehab. We would like to do a title search ourselves and need to know what exactly do we have to look for and how. This is in PA.

Two months ago we had some punks get into a fight right outside our floor level appartment (our bedroom windows are next to the side-walk ...our parents were visiting and were sleeping in our bedroom) they told us it sounded like a number of people fighting and maybe was adrug deal, etc...needless to say it left them shaken. We went out an discovered blood on the front of our appartment and made sure to show our landlord and explained this not the first time loud and scary behavior has happened outside our San Francisco apt that is placed on a shady street with very low lighting in the Mission District. We asked them to put in a sensor light and they said they would...two months later when one of the brothers (family duo-ownership) that own the place show our place to potential buyers, without calling us first, we remind him that people are still carrying on outside on our dark side-walk...just last night there was another altercation and he replies that "they are on it.' I call the other brother right away, telling him that I will not allow his brother and guests in the next time if he does not call AND that it has been two months since we asked for a some sort of sensor light, he replied that "they are on it but it wasn't the first thing on his list of things to do... they are trying to sale the place; he also added that he was busy putting up Halloween Decorations and they think they have really taken care of us! "
Meaning he doesn't care because it's not his family and he wont do it, he will leave it up to new owners.
What do I do to keep my family safe?

A friend of mine just lost her husband due to heart attack; he purchased home in 2007 in his name and wife was not on title or mortgage loan; they have been married for 5 years and live in Arizona which I believe is a community property state.
The home now has negative equity compared to oustanding balance and loan is an adjustable loan.
Can Wells Fargo (mortgage) come after her for home balance?
She is thinking about letting home go into foreclosure due to negative equity and that and she cant afford it; she was also thinking about doing a loan modification, yet not sure if that can be done seeing that her name is not on the loans or title??
