I am looking for an apartment in Melbourne and I noticed some ads labeled as "Leased", I know what lease means but I'm not sure about "leased". Does it means the apartment is not available or it's still under contract but available to rent?

My boyfriend and I really want to get a place together, however we are both in debt right now so we know it will be some time before we can afford anything. Currently he works full-time but i'm a freshman college student with only a part time job. This is "buy and hold" unimproved land worth $100K bought with cash. It provides a very small yearly income as a pasture lease. It is in a rural area several hundred miles away. Besides travel, there are property taxes and liability insurance expenses.

Hi, im currently 18 and I know this is far into the future, but i would like to know what you guys think. I plan to go to college in Miami, FL and get a job there as well. I will probably buy a house when im around 28-30 and I was looking at current prices, which are great but the market is terrible. It says it sold for 212k in 2000 and 484k in 2006. So it is a huge change. Does anyone know how much a house that is 275k right now will be in 10 years considering the market is good (I KNOW YOU CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE, BUT ESTIMATES BASED ON PAST TRENDS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
