I have been having a lot of problems with my landlord. Her grandchildren where playing with the electicity and turned of my power. this caused damage to my computers. when i told them about it my boyfriend got involved and we had a disagreement. now even with them at fault i am willing to let it go i just want them to leave me alone. now they have send me a letter stating that they don't know who his is and don't have his ID information and he must leave in 3 days.
I can't find a copy of the law that states the ammount of days you can legally have a guest in your home. I know there is a set number because i have had landlords that requested smaller restrictions, but this situation is a standard tenancy form. and well a lot of problems. I want to move. I may have to go soon than I wanted.

I am a cancer patient and because of the treatments I need, I must purchase a home. I went after a foreclosure in my budget that meets my needs. The day I was set to close, it was discovered that the listing agent did not complete his paperwork with both mortgage companies. There is both a first and second mortgage on the home. I have a purchase agreement. I have HUD sign-off documents and other legally binding papers. Both mortgage companies involved agreed to the terms but backed out demanding more money. The appraised value is $95,000 but in order to close both mortgage companies are demanding that I pay $150,000 as the combined total. What can I do to get this deal back on track? My funds are sitting in a title company account as they had to be wired. I have been informed that I can't even get my money back. Why doesn't the purchase hold any weight? What legal recourse do I have against the mortgage companies involved, which are PNC and Chase?"

I have a job offer in another area & would like to relocate, however I have 2 months left on my lease. How do I break the lease without owing the apartment complex?

Im not exactly sure where i saw it, but i believe on Laguna beach awhile back, i saw an episode where they rented out a house for a night to throw a party. I was wondering what this would be called, or where i could find houses in my area that are rented out for parties, nights, day-by-day, etc.

I want to know if I have the right to move so that I don't have to show people the house I'm leasing. Its very inconvenient and I was told the owners puttting the house for sale breaks my lease agreement according to new laws.

I entered into a 'C for Deed' as the seller, where I sold a home on a rent-to-own type basis. The contract was official and recorded at the County Clerks office in my county. The buyer has since defaulted on payment and abandoned the home. I would like to have the contract officially canceled, and have sole ownership restored to my name. I've recorded a document with the County Clerk's office stating that they have defaulted and that I have no way of contacting them. It was acceptable to them, but they could not tell me whether this was sufficient to cancel the contract. Is it now legal to either rent or sell (enter into another contract) to another person? I've followed all the necessary steps as directed by my county's website. If possible, I would really, really like to avoid hiring an attorney or title company. If it's not possible, which would be cheaper and quicker? Thank you.

My landlord has basically given permission to some of my neighbors to call her at home and tell on any suspicious happenings here at my complex. The problem is, that the neighbors she chose tend to have a vendetta against me and the landlord does too. Im in such a position where Im not ready to move but I only have a month left till my lease is resigned and this guy is already saying im on drugs. How do I just not get their attention?

I am curious as of what you have to do to buy an HUD home. We have found a house for $49,000 and we have never owned a home, nor do we know anything about owning a home. Do you have to have a down payment? If so, can you take out a loan for your down payment? How much would a payment be on a home for $49,000 including insurance and property tax? I just dont know how all of this works and I feel like an idiot asking..LOL
